Historic Stuyvesant Townhouse

This spectacular townhouse in the historic Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY was magical to capture. Having been commissioned to shoot both before and after this dramatic restoration was captivating. It combines the classic original detail with modern touches that seamlessly blend contemporary living into a historic property. It was an absolute pleasure to capture from start to finish.

Paul Wiener Estate

Called upon by architect Christine Harper of Harper Design + Build who collaborated with current owner and visionary Lisa Perry, this timeless property designed and inhabited by architect Paul Lester Wiener is now repurposed as an arthouse that showcases some of the world’s most important female artists.

The Bronx Children's Museum

When I was approached by the Director of The Bronx Children’s Museum I was ecstatic at the opportunity to combine my love of architecture with community accessibility and preservation. O’neill McVoy utilized incredible style and sustainability to completely repurpose this unique historic property on the Harlem River.

Passionate architectural and historical photographer

Elizabeth Hope

Lead by unwavering wanderlust, an adoration of history, and a preoccupation with design rich environments, Elizabeth left the landscape of the Midwest for the eclectic cityscapes that make up New York with her camera in hand. With a background in photojournalism dating back to 2003 and over two decades of experience in interior and architectural photography, Dooley has refined her ability to reveal the story of the structure, its designer, and its inhabitants through her lens.

Included in Dooley’s portfolio are Brooke Astor’s Private Estate in Briarcliff Manor, known as The Astor House, architect Stanford White’s former artist studio that he designed in East Hampton, Novelist Truman Capote’s home in Sagaponack, NY, Maya Angelou’s Harlem brownstone & Madame C.J. Walker’s Yorkville Heights estate.
